HALF RACK WIDTH BENCH OR MODULAR DC LOADS
The 41T Series DC loads offer high power and current in a half-rack with form factor.
Both 41T Series models are rated at 800W continuous and 1600W in TURBO mode. TURBO mode which allows short term overload testing up to 3x times the rated current or power of the load. Available input voltage ranges are 0~80Vdc (41T08160) and 0~500Vdc (41T5040). Both models offer a wide V-I constant power load profile. The compact form factor of these DC Loads makes them convenient for bench use as well as rack mount applications. Available in stand-alone version or modular load form for use with 44M02 or 44M04 Mainframe.

Load Versatility
All APS 41T Series bench loads are equipped with a powerful microcontroller and user friendly controls to provide capabilities that cover a wide range of load applications. Built in metering of Voltage, Current, Power and Resistance.
Power Supply Testing
With a choice of low voltage and high current or high voltage and lower current models, the 41T loads support testing of wide range of DC power products and AC/DC converters. The ability to execute automated load sequences and apply fast programmable current slew rates provides extensive testing and evaluation of power supply loop response and stability for a broad range of products.
Power Supply Design
With built-in features like over current protection (OPC) test and over power protection (OPP) test and dynamic constant current waveform testing, new power supply designs can be thoroughly evaluated against design specifications. An analog input mode allows arbitrary current waveforms to be applied to a unit under test as well.
Battery Charge/Discharge Testing
Time sequencing of specific discharge current levels as a function of battery voltage allows characterization and performance testing of various battery chemistries. The high current resolution and accuracy of the 41T Series load modules supports testing of very small batteries for portable device applications. The latest 41T Series DC loads offer built-in battery discharge profiles and Lithium battery BMS test mode.
Current Protection Device Testing
Testing of current protection devices like fuses, circuit breakers or PTC’s is automated using special test modes that increment current levels while tracking time to open on 41T model DC load modules..
Solar Panel Testing
Testing solar panels or cells is supported using built-in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) mode on 41T model DC load modules.
