The APF3000 Series is a high-power, three-phase programmable AC source that’s practical, reliable, and easy to use. It replicating utility grids from 50/60 Hz up to 840 Hz frequency options for industrial testing, burn-in, and multi-device operation. Ideal for programmable high-power testing and simulation applications, this provides clean, stable power with low harmonic distortion (THD ≤ 0.5%) and precise output regulation (≤ 0.5%).

Advanced Programming Without Complexity

Independent Phase Angle Adjustment (Option) for Effective Power Line Simulation

On three phase APF3000 models, the P3 option allows programming of phases V and W with respect to phase U other than 240° and 120°
Independent Phase Angle Adjustment lets you shift the phase of each output independently on a three-phase system. This allows you to simulate real-world grid conditions, including phase imbalances or disturbances, and test how equipment like motors, inverters, or drives respond.

Up to 200% Overload Capability (Optional)

An inductive UUT (Unit under Test), such as motor or water pump, can generate significant inrush current when activated. The APF Series has optional overload capability that can support this inrush current as needed.

Broader Frequency & Higher Voltage Range (Optional)

Extend Frequency Option to 840Hz

Optional frequency from 300 to 840Hz ideal for aerospace and defense or used for double frequency test of a transformer.

Higher Output Voltages (Option V400 or V600)

For applications requiring more than 310V L-N, one of two higher voltage options can be specified at time of order, 400V L-N (V400) or 600V L-N (V600). Ideal for applications that require higher input voltage like motors.
