The Adaptive Power 3C Series delivers versatile AC/DC load testing up to 480Vrms/700Vdc, ideal for AC sources, inverters, UPS, batteries, and PV systems. These modular loads have flexible V-I curves, precision low-range modes, and scalable power from 3.75kVA/W per chassis, paralleled to 22.5kVA/kW per phase (or 22.5kVA/W cabinets). The 3C Series speeds product development and high-throughput testing.

Modular, Flexible AC & DC Load Testing
The 3C Series offers five rack models up to 3,750VA/W per chassis, scalable to 22.5kVA/kW per phase, plus cabinet systems at 7,500VA/W and 22,500VA/W. Three units can form delta or wye configurations with single-master control, and the MODE option enables easy switching between delta, wye, or single-phase parallel modes (3P4W, 3P3W or 1P2W).
The 3C Series includes a unique INRUS mode for simulating decaying inrush currents. Users can program frequency, start current, step size, end current, and duration. Once armed, the load detects AC voltage turn-on and instantly applies the defined profile.
The 3C Series includes an AC Rectifier mode that combines CC and CR to keep AC current THD at 80%, fully compliant with IEC62040-3 (UPS efficiency under non-linear loads) and IEC61683 (resistive plus non-linear mode). It accurately simulates the impedance of rectifier capacitor input stages.
