The ELZ Series is a regenerative electronic load with an optional PHIL interface that can emulate both linear and non-linear AC or DC loads. This unit delivers up to 55kVA in a single cabinet, scalable to 550kVA in parallel and three-phase systems exceeding 1.1MW. The ELZ integrates three high-performance DSPs for superior loading capability, such as circuit emulation.

This programmable AC/DC electronic load supports full 4-quadrant capability, enabling precise control of real and reactive power while allowing adjustment of power factor, current crest factor, current waveform, and more.

Several Emulation Load Modes Including Circuit Emulation

Simultaneous AC and DC load operation is supported per phase (or channel), with automatic input mode switching to give test engineers maximum flexibility. Configurations include single-phase, split-phase, three-phase, and multi-channel setups, with optional isolated neutrals available for both AC and DC.
